Overview

  • This article covers common setup and account questions β€” domains, alerts, notifications, data exports, trials, team access, security, and the API.
  • If your question isn't answered here, check the specific help article for that feature.

How do I add a domain?

Domains aren't added by hand β€” there's no "add domain" form, because domains sync in automatically once you connect the right integration.

  1. Go to Integrations.
  2. Connect the registrar or DNS integration that manages your domain.
  3. Wait for the sync to complete β€” your domains will appear on their own.

Why don't I see my domains, DNS records, or servers?

These all arrive through an integration β€” they aren't entered manually.

  1. Go to Integrations and connect the relevant provider.
  2. Wait for the first sync to finish.
  3. If things still look empty, check that integration's health status for errors.

How do I get alerts in Slack, Telegram, Teams, or Discord?

  1. Go to Alerts β†’ Destinations.
  2. Add your chat app (Slack, Telegram, Teams, or Discord) as a destination.
  3. Route the events you care about to that destination.

What's the difference between Notifications and Alerts?

  • Notifications (Settings β†’ Notifications) are your personal email and in-app preferences.
  • Alerts configure where organization-wide alerts get routed β€” for example, to Slack or Teams.

Can I export my data?

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Data.
  2. Export any single resource as CSV or JSON, or export everything at once as a ZIP.

What happens when my trial ends?

NoteIf you don't upgrade before your trial ends, your organization automatically moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted β€” your data stays intact.

How do I invite my team?

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Members.
  2. Invite teammates by email.
  3. Assign each person a role.

Is my data secure?

  • Secrets are encrypted at rest.
  • The platform supports 2FA.
  • Backups run daily.

See the Security article for full details.

How do I use the API?

  1. Go to Settings β†’ API tokens.
  2. Create an API token, scoping it to only the abilities you need.
  3. Use the API docs for the full endpoint reference.

TipScope your API tokens as narrowly as possible β€” only grant the abilities the token actually needs.
